My dream job

Hi!

I study visual arts which was my dream career, I have just completed my second year and I really enjoy what I study, so I would like to work in something related. If I could chose I would work selling commissioned paintings, selling my own work and giving workshops. To accomplish this I need to improve my skills in oil painting, marketing and money management. I also hope to study pedagogy to be more prepared to do the workshops, but I wouldn't like to teach in schools or universities, I don't think it's for me.

I hope to be a freelance worker, so I will not have a fixed salary, but I only aspire to have enough to live comfortably, I don't need many luxuries. Being a freelancer, it is not necessary for me to travel, but if I could permit myself I would like to travel to the south of Chile often to get inspired and learn more ecological painting techniques.  

In the future, I would like to study a grade in art therapy, to give workshops to older adults, as I feel that their mental health is very neglected and I would like to help them through art, as it helps me day by day.

Maybe it´s a crazy dream, but I feel optimistic, I believe I can make it because my mom and my partner support me. I will do my best!
